CBSE 10th Result 2021: Delhi government writes letter to CBSE, seeks time to prepare 10th class result

The Delhi government on Wednesday requested the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to review the Class 10 board exam result deadline. According to the Delhi government, many of its teachers are engaged in Kovid-19 duty and schools are being used as vaccination centers. In such a situation, it is difficult to prepare exam results on time. For this reason, CBSE should once again review the deadline given to schools for preparing 10th result.
In a letter to CBSE, the government cited the high positive rate, increasing number of Kovid-19 cases in the national capital and the lockdown imposed in the city till 10 May.

CBSE gave this time limit
Please tell that CBSE had instructed schools to submit marks of 10th students’ internal assessment by June 11, after which the result was to be declared by June 20. But in view of the current situation, the Delhi government has urged the CBSE to review the deadline given for preparing the Class 10 board result.

Most teachers and school staff are doing cavid duty
The letter further stated that, “To assist the district administration, most teachers and other employees, including Delhi government schools data entry operators and IT assistants, are at the forefront of performing the duties related to Kovid-19.” According to, teachers are busy in COVID-19 hotspots and conducting door-to-door surveys in vulnerable areas, contact tracing as well as monitoring the movement of bodies.

The letter further states that, teachers and school staff are also engaged in activities related to COVID vaccination. Teachers are assisting the government in the enforcement of COVID protocols and screening at airports. At the same time, the government said that 76 of its schools have been designated as COVID vaccination centers. In addition, there are many instances in which teachers or students or their family members have been found corona positive or have lost their loved ones.
