NMAT 2021 exam starts today, check exam guidelines here


NMAT Exam 2021 Today: NMAT 2021 exam is being conducted on 14 October 2021 i.e. today. NMAT is conducted for admission to the Postgraduate Management Program and is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). The NMAT 2021 exam, which started from today, will continue till December 27. As per the NMAT 2021 exam pattern, the entrance exam will be conducted for three sections Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. The duration of NMAT 2021 will be of two hours and sectional time limit will be attached for all the sections of the test. NMAT 2021 is being conducted as a remote-proctored test.

NMAT 2021 Marking Scheme

  • Each objective type question of NMAT 2021 exam will be of 3 marks
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • No mark will be given for unattempted questions.

NMAT Exam 2021 Main Highlights

  • To improve the NMAT score, candidates can take the NMAT 2021 exam thrice – one test and two retakes.
  • NMAT Slot Booking / Exam Scheduling- Candidates can choose the date, time and venue of NMAT exam as per their choice and convenience.
  • While writing the exam candidates can choose the order of the NMAT exam section. For example candidates can opt for Quantitative Section first followed by Language Skills and Logical Reasoning.
  • Candidates can review their answers at the end of each section and reattempt if required.

NMAT 2021 exam day guidelines

  • Candidates will have to carry a printed copy of the NMAT 2021 admit card to the examination center and produce the same at the time of giving the home proctored test.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any stationery items or personal belongings inside the NMAT exam hall.
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones, digital calculators or smartwatches are not allowed in the NMAT exam centre.
  • Candidates appearing for NMAT retake must have only one copy of NMAT admit card as per NMAT exam.

NMAT 2021- IBT for the mode exam day guidelines

  • Before taking the NMAT exam, candidates must check whether their internet connection is working properly or not.
  • Candidates should remain alone in the room while giving the exam.
  • If candidates are giving NMAT on computer system then ensure that it should be connected to Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS).
  • There should be a webcam, speaker and microphone during the entire exam.
  • There should be two A4 blank sheets of paper and a pencil to be shown to the examination proctor before the commencement of the examination.
  • Candidates should not leave the room before the completion of the test.
