CBSE extends the deadline for preparing 12th class results till July 25

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday extended the deadline for finalizing the class 12 results of schools till July 25. Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj gave this information. Earlier the deadline was 22 July.

Bhardwaj said that the teachers engaged in preparing the exam results are under stress. In a government order, he said, “As the last date for preparation of examination results nears, teachers are getting stressed and committing errors. They are sending a request to CBSE to rectify these mistakes. CBSE is well aware of the problems being faced by schools and teachers in this regard.

He said, “In view of this, CBSE has decided to extend the last date from July 22 to July 25.” In view of the second wave of Kovid-19, the board examinations were canceled and schools were closed for classes X and 12. The task was entrusted to prepare the examination results using the separate optional evaluation policy announced by CBSE. However, CBSE did not clarify whether the extension of deadline for schools would delay the declaration of results, which are to be declared by July 31.

10th, 12th board exams for individual students from August 16 to September 15

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday said that the class 10th and 12th examinations for individual (private) candidates will be conducted from August 16 to September 15. The board refused to declare the results of individual candidates on the basis of the alternative evaluation policy for regular students, saying that neither the schools nor the CBSE has any previous evaluation record for these students.

CBSE’s controller of examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj said, “The examinations will be conducted from August 16 to September 15 and their result will also be declared in the earliest possible time so that they do not face any difficulty in admission to higher education.” In 2015, a group of individual candidates protested outside the CBSE headquarters alleging disparity between them and regular students.
