New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12 result tabulation portal will be closed today. CBSE had asked schools to submit past exam marks of students, which will be used to calculate results in various phases. Today 5th July is the last date for schools to submit practical and project marks and upload class 12 theory marks.
CBSE launched this portal in June to help schools prepare class 12 results. The board had said in a statement, “This system will ease the assessment work, reduce the time taken and many other hassles.”
Once the tabulation process is completed, the board will declare the class 12 results. The results will be available through cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in and DigiLocker.
Results will be declared by July 31
CBSE had announced its policy last month to evaluate class 12 students on the basis of marks obtained in class 10th, 11th and pre-board examinations. The board had said to declare the results by July 31.
According to the decision of the 13-member committee constituted by the board, 30 percent marks will be given on the basis of 10th board examination, next 30 percent marks will be given on the basis of 11th class and 40 percent marks will be given on the basis of 12th class unit, mid term and pre-board examinations.
