Hours after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) revealed its scoring plan for Class 12 in the Supreme Court, the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSHSEB) announced its evaluation criteria for Class 12, based on which The results will be declared in the third week of July.
GSHSEB Under the 50:25:25 formula Will prepare result
According to the evaluation policy of the 11-member Educationalist Committee constituted to prepare the criteria, GSHSEB will prepare the result on the basis of marks of class 10, 11 and 12 under the formula of 50:25:25.
Significantly, a day after the CBSE Class 12 exams were canceled on June 1, the cabinet of ministers headed by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani also decided to cancel the Class 12 state board exams on June 2.
Highest weightage of 50 marks given to 10th result Has gone
On the recommendations of the committee of educationists, GSHSEB has announced a policy in which weightage of highest 50 marks has been given to class 10th result while the internal unit test of class 11 and 12 has been given weightage of 25 marks each. By adding these, total 100 marks are made.
Result will come in third week of July
Let us inform that GSHSEB has also released the date sheet for the preparation and declaration of results. The board will declare the result for class 12 science stream in the second week of July and then the general stream result in the third week of July. Marksheets and certificates will be distributed at the end of July.
