Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) has canceled the pending board examinations of class 11 and class 12. It has been tweeted from the office of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir that, the board examinations have been canceled due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. A detailed process for the declaration of board class results and calculation of marks will be announced soon.

Regarding the cancellation of the examinations, it has been tweeted from the office of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir that, “In view of the safety and well-being of the students due to the Kovid epidemic, all the pending JKBOSE Examination Session 2020-21 (Regular / Private) Class 11 and Class 12 whose Exams or results are awaited, they have been cancelled. Along with this, it has been said that, “The detailed process of publishing the result along with the marking scheme by JKBOSE will be completed soon.”
Apart from CBSE, many states have canceled their board examinations.
It is worth noting that during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 1, CBSE’s 12th examination was canceled. After this many states also canceled their board examinations. Another central board, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), also canceled both class 10 and class 12 exams.
At the same time, the state government of Assam has decided to conduct board examinations. The state government said on June 8 that it would conduct class 10 and class 12 board exams and the SOP for the exams would be issued soon.
