Navjeevan Pawar, who became an IAS officer after passing the UPSC exam in the year 2018, faced every difficulty in the path of success. The story of his struggle is an inspiration to millions.

Navjeevan Pawar is originally from Maharashtra. His UPSC journey was not very long. He also got success in the very first attempt, but in this short journey he faced many challenges. Once his health deteriorated and he had to be admitted to the hospital too, but he did not stop his preparation.

Born in a village in Maharashtra, Navjeevan’s father was a farmer. Childhood went through a lot of troubles but Navjeevan was very smart in studies, so his family members decided to send him to Delhi for UPSC preparation. One day his health deteriorated during coaching in Delhi. When he reached the hospital, it was found that he had got dengue. In such a situation, the family members called him to them. Here Navjeevan was admitted to a hospital.

Navjeevan had passed the UPSC pre-examination. After this he got dengue, only one month was left in the Mains exam. Navjeevan was more worried about UPSC exam than his health. This was the reason why he started studying in ICU itself. This passion to achieve the goal, the doctors who treated the country were also surprised. After coming back from the hospital, he prepared diligently. His luck also favored him and he succeeded in the very first attempt.

Navjeevan advises the candidates preparing for UPSC to work hard continuously. He says that you will face many challenges in this journey, due to which you have to fight and win. Many people will try to demotivate you, but by ignoring them, you have to maintain focus on your goal.
