Due to this disaster, a lot of emotional, psychological, financial and social crisis has arisen. About 9,000 children have lost both parents due to Kovid-19 in the country. He further said that the University has the responsibility of reaching out to the children who have lost both their parents due to corona infection and are now facing the challenge of continuing their education as part of their commitment towards social welfare. .
Fee is also waived
In view of this fact, AU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sangeeta Srivastava has informed the district administration that Allahabad University will offer additional seats for students who have lost both parents due to COVID-19. For these children, there will be a complete waiver of fees along with any other fees related to education.” The entire cost of education of such children who have completed 12th standard will be borne by the university. However, such children will have to produce the death certificate of their deceased parents.
