So far 2,290 children have lost either or both of their parents due to Corona virus infection in the state of Maharashtra. But in the hour of this crisis, Maharashtra government has become a support for children orphaned due to Corona.
Explain that School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has said that the Maharashtra government has proposed free education for children up to class 12, who have lost their parents due to Kovid. A proposal was given to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, in which it was said that the Department of Higher and Technical Education would bear the entire expenses of the education of children up to class 12.

Kerala government will give orphaned children from Corona every month 2 thousand rupees
Earlier, the Kerala government also made a similar announcement. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had said that the government has announced a special package of Rs 3 lakh as immediate relief and a monthly assistance of Rs 2,000 to the orphaned children due to Kovid. The Chief Minister also said that the government will bear the expenses of education till the graduation of orphaned children due to Kovid.
Students will be provided a monthly assistance of Rs 2,000 till they attain the age of 18 years. The governments of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand have already announced financial assistance and free education for children orphaned by Kovid.
