Professor of Delhi University Hindu College dies of corona infection


A professor at the Hindu College of Delhi University has died from Corona. The principal of the college, Dr. Anju Srivastava, said that Dr. CL Jonwal (43) was a professor of zoology. He died in AIIMS early Tuesday from Corona virus. He was promoted to the post of Associate Professor on 30 March and is survived by his wife and a 12-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son. Kovid was a prominent member of the 19 Task Force at Jonwal College and had arranged hospital beds and oxygen for many of his colleagues.

Dr. Anju Srivastava said that, & ldquo; Dr. CL Jonwal joined the college in 2006 and was very bright and committed to his work. We had somehow arranged a bed for them at AIIMS but we lost them. The professor was initially admitted to a hospital in Alwar."

Corona was infected on 29 April Professor Jonwal

He said that Jonwal was infected with coronavirus around April 29 & nbsp; and had left Delhi in the first week of May. Initially, he was in home isolation. When his oxygen levels were low, he arranged for gas at home, but due to ill health, he had to be admitted to the hospital in Alwar on 10 May. He was treated there but his condition worsened. He was then admitted to AIIMS where he died.

Principal infected with Corona

The principal of the college said that about 35 teachers of the college, including him, have been infected with the virus so far. "There were one or two serious cases, but they have also been cured."
