Students’ safety should be considered

In a letter to the Union Education Minister, the All India Students Council has said that, along with the central government, the state governments should consider the safety of students before conducting the 12th class board examination 2021. In view of the prevailing situation, new methods such as Short Duration Examination, Open Book Examination and Major Subject Examination can be adopted for conducting the examination.

Final decision should be taken only after deliberation

According to ABVP, many state governments are already adopting the same constructive approach for the board exam 2021. It has been said that in the months of July-August, the number of centers should be increased for conducting one-day entrance examination for admission to reputed colleges and universities. It has also been suggested to increase the number of seats in various medical courses from July-August 2021.

The Central Government as well as the State Governments should also take judicial decisions keeping in view the safety, health and educational prospects of the students so that the students do not face problems in future.
