In this regard, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Sunday that the Goa government has canceled the Class 10 examination in the state in view of the outbreak of Kovid-19 and a decision will also be taken on the Class 12 examinations in the next two days. .
Will be given on the basis of internal assessment 10th Marks
The Chief Minister said that it has been decided to cancel the 10th examination on the recommendation of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary School Education and officials of the Education Department as well as a committee of experts from the field. Along with this, he told that on the basis of internal assessment examinations conducted in the academic year 2020-21, marks of class 10 will be given.
Failed students in one or two subjects ATKT Will be included in the exam
At the same time, the Chief Minister said that those who fail in one or two subjects can appear in the ATKT (Allowed to Keep Terms) examination. Those who want to opt for the Science and Diploma stream will have to take a one-day examination which will be conducted by the Goa Board. Students will be informed about this one-day examination 15 days in advance.
Decision on 12th exam in next two or three days
With this, he said that ‘private students’ will have to take one-day or three-day examination, the dates of which will be announced later. Sawant also told that, “The decision on class XII examination will be taken on Tuesday or Wednesday.”
