CBSE 12th Board Exams 2021: The high-level meeting convened by the Central Government for the CBSE Class 12 board exam 2021 as well as other 12th board examinations has ended. The eyes of various students and parents of the country were kept on this meeting. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said after the meeting that the government will take a decision on this as soon as possible. Pokhriyal said about the high level meeting that the government will take a decision after receiving feedback from the states on the points discussed. Feedback is to be taken by 25 May.
The Union Education Minister said that many valuable suggestions have been received from the states and various participants. He said that I am confident that we will be able to arrive at a collaborative decision regarding the Class XII board exams and will remove the uncertainty going on in the minds of the students and parents by informing them of our final decision as soon as possible. However, he did not comment on what the decision would be. He said that I want to reiterate that both the safety and the future of students and teachers are very important for us.
CBSE gave these important suggestions to the panel
According to media reports, CBSE has presented two options in front of the panel regarding conducting the Class 12 board examination. The board has proposed to conduct examinations only for major subjects. At the same time, another option of short paper of objective type questions of 90 minutes duration has also been proposed by the board. Feedback has been sought on both these options.
The Education Minister thanked all the Chief Ministers, Education Ministers as well as the officials. He also thanked Defense Minister Rajnath Singh for presiding over the meeting, as well as Prakash Javadekar and Smriti Irani for being part of the important process.
