Optional change after first attempt
After doing chemical engineering, Varjit decided to prepare for UPSC. For the first time, he made Sociology his optional subject and after preparing for one and a half years, he appeared in the examination. However, this time he failed the pre-exam. In such a situation, he decided to change his optional subject. But even in the second attempt, their selection could not be done. In such a situation, he identified his mistakes and corrected them.
Did not get good rank in third attempt
Varjit passed the UPSC examination in the third attempt, but his rank was 577. Based on this rank, he did not get IAS service. After this, he decided to make another attempt. Eventually, his hard work paid off in the fourth attempt and he achieved his dream by achieving All India Rank 21. In this way, his journey to UPSC was completed.
