Anvi Bhutani, co-president of Racial Awareness and Equality (CRAE) at Oxford SU and president of Oxford India Society, was in the fray for the 2021-22 academic year. A record turnout was recorded in these elections and Anvi was declared winner on Thursday night. & nbsp;

According to ‘Cherwell’ Student Newspaper, Anvi Bhutani included the implementation of the Oxford Living Wage in his manifesto, removing welfare services and disciplinary action and diversifying the curriculum.
In her Winning Manifesto, Anvi said, use the suggestions of student campaigns to work with initiatives like Oxford and the Colonialism Hub to make the curriculum more diverse. "
It also states that, & ldquo; Promote more funding for existing mental health support programs, access to university counseling services and work towards shorter waiting times.
According to Student Newspaper, this time the by-election has had the highest turnout so far.
