The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has canceled the secondary or 10th class public examinations to be held in June 2021. NIOS has also postponed the examination for Class 12 and Vocation Students. Please tell that this decision has been taken in view of the frightening pace of Kovid-19 in the country.
NIOS Released official notification
According to the official notification issued by the institute, the theory and practical public examinations of senior secondary and vocational courses scheduled in June 2021 have been postponed until further orders. NIOS will review the situation on 20 June. With this, a fresh exam notification will be issued 15 days before the start of the exam.

Please tell that this decision has come after many students demanded the postponement of examinations due to the status of Kovid-19. It is worth noting that CBSE, CISCE and many other state boards have already postponed the class 12 examination and canceled the class 10 examination.
Students dissatisfied with the result will get a chance to appear in the exam
According to the official note, “NIOS will formulate appropriate criteria for assessment and results will be prepared in the best interest of the learners. If any learner is not satisfied with his result, he will be allowed to appear in public examinations or on-demand exam, if the situation is favorable for conducting the examination.
