After 12th, come to Delhi for studies
Anand Vardhan originally hails from Bihar. He was always smart in studies and studied up to his intermediate in his city. After this, Anand decided to pursue a career in engineering. For this, he came to Delhi and got admission in Delhi University. After getting an engineering degree, he got a job. Till now, UPSC had no idea in their mind. But after working for some time, he decided to become an IAS.
Failed many times, but did not give up
Anand decided to prepare for the UPSC Civil Service along with the job. He gave more time for his studies on weekends, so every day after office he took out a few hours to study. However, in the first 3 attempts, he could not pass the pre-exam. But he did not give up and kept working hard. Finally, in the fourth attempt, he had good luck and he fulfilled his dream by making a place in the list of toppers.

Anand’s advice to other candidates
Anand believes that it is up to you to join coaching or not to get success in UPSC. If you have the right guidance, then you can prepare for this exam without coaching. They say that if you constantly try in the right direction by making a good strategy, then one day you will definitely get success.
