The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has postponed the prelims 2021 exam. The J&K Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination will now be held on October 24, 2021. Let us know that the JKPSC Prelims 2021 exam was scheduled to be held on July 11, 2021. But the examination has been postponed due to the pace of corona infection.
The official notice regarding the JKPSC Prelims 2021 exam states that, “Due to the Koviz 19 epidemic, the JKPSC Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam 2021, which was scheduled to be held on 11 July, will now be held on 24 October 2021 (Sunday).”
Only permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir can take the exam
It is worth mentioning that JKPSC Prelims 2021 will be organized for recruitment to administrative posts in the Union Territory. To appear in the JKPSC Prelims 2021 Examination, the candidates must be a permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir.
The commission has made another important announcement
Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has made another important announcement on JKPSC Prelims 2021. According to which the candidates who have deposited more fees for single application, they should give the correct account details in the prescribed format on or before 25th May. More information can be obtained from JKPSC’s website jkpsc.nic.in.
Those who qualify the prelims will give the main exam and interview
The candidates who qualify in JKPSC Prelims 2021 will be called for the main examination and interview round. The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the final round.
