The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to postpone the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2020 (UPTET) exam due to increasing cases of corona infection. According to the schedule of the UP Basic Education Department, the UPTET exam was to be held on July 25, 2021.

The notification for the UP Teacher Eligibility Test was scheduled to be released on May 11, which has now been postponed until further notice. The official notification issued by the UP government states that “Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Examination has been postponed for the year 2020 in view of Kovid-19 cases. Announcement of new date after reviewing the status of Kovid-19 in the state Will.”
UPTET 2020 Registration Process 11 Supposed to start in may
The examination regulatory authority had earlier sent a proposal to the state government to postpone the UP TET 2021 exam in view of the Kovid-19 epidemic. The state government has accepted the proposal. According to the schedule released by the UP Basic Education Department, UPTET 2020 registration was scheduled to begin on May 11 and end on June 1, 2021.
It is meant to fill the vacant posts of teachers UPTET Exam
The UPTET exam is conducted to fill the vacant posts of teachers in primary and upper primary schools of the state government. Last year, about 10,68,912 candidates appeared in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. For more information, the candidates are advised to check the official website updeled.gov.in.
