HPBOSE Board Exam 2021: Himachal Pradesh Board released 10th Class Promotion Criteria, Students will pass on this basis


The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBOSE) has canceled the 10th class final examination in view of increasing cases of corona infection. Students of 10th class will now be evaluated on the basis of performance of first term, second term, pre board and internal assessment exam conducted during academic year. Explain that in a virtual meeting in the presence of Board officials and teachers, a discussion on evaluation criterion has been done.

Evaluation Criteria for Open School Students To be announced
According to the official statement, the final result of the 10th class will be calculated on the basis of performance in the first term, second term, pre-board and internal assessment exam. On this basis, students will be promoted in the Algi class. However, for open school students, the evaluation criteria are yet to be announced.

Significantly, in view of the corona infection epidemic, Himachal Pradesh had postponed the class 10 board examination to cancell and 12 board examination. HPBOSE class 10, 12 examinations were to start on 13 April. As per the dates released by the state board, the Class 10 regular and SOS examinations were scheduled to be held between April 13 to April 28 and Class 12 exams between April 13 and May 10. The decision to cancel and postpone HPBOSE exams has been made to avoid any congestion around the examination centers and to break the chain of COVID-19 infection.
