Left job offer with a package of millions
Sumit was born in Jamui, Bihar. There were no good schools in the area where he was born. In such a situation, his parents got Sumit enrolled in boarding school. Sumit was very serious about his studies from childhood and after intermediate he cleared the entrance of IIT. After graduating from IIT, he got a job offer with a package of lakhs of rupees, but he decided to prepare for UPSC instead of a job.
UPSC’s journey was like this
For the first time, when Sumit took the UPSC exam, he failed in the pre exam itself. However, he did not give up and made the second attempt twice with vigor by correcting his shortcomings. This time he passed the examination but got rank 493. According to this he got the Indian Defense State Service. Sumit had a desire to become an IAS officer, so he made another attempt. Finally, in the third attempt, he fulfilled his dream.

Sumit’s advice to other candidates
Sumit believes that during the preparation of UPSC, you should identify your deficiencies and take help from whichever help you can get. If you rectify your mistakes then you can get better rank.
