ICSI CSEET May 2021: Candidates giving exam must know these important things, also know last minute tips


The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will conduct the CS Executive Exam (CSEET 2021) on 8 May 2021. CSEET is the first step towards becoming a company secretary (CS). Although ICSI has postponed the CS June exam, but the institute will conduct CSET 2021 in online proctored mode. Because of this, the viva-voce portion of the exam has been abolished.

All the candidates going to take the exam In vital few Things It is important to know.

1-Firstly, during the examination, candidates will have to maintain their CSEET 2021 Admit Card and Valid ID Proof (PAN / Aadhaar / any other valid government approved ID). After logging in for the test, the proctor will instruct the candidate to show his / her admit card / ID. Therefore, it is important that the candidates keep it with them during the test.

2- Every candidate will have to log in through a safe ID and password on the online test-taking platform. Login credentials for the candidates will be sent by email and SMS before the test.

3- During the test, an Artificial Intelligent Tool (AI) will continuously monitor the candidate’s picture. Action will be taken immediately if there is any mismatch. This may disrupt the ICSI CSEET result.

4- Candidates can take the exam from their home or any other convenient place through their own laptop / desktop. However, candidates have not been allowed to take the exam through smartphone (mobile) / tablet etc.

5- In case of any technical problem during the test process, the candidates can call the help dest number 9513850008, 9513850025 to solve their problem. The helpline number is operational from May 3, 2021.

6- MCQ pattern questions will be asked in the exam and there will be a total of 140 questions of 200 marks. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes.

CSEET Some last minute tips for candidates
Read and follow all the instructions for the online proctored test sent by ICSI.
Arrange and install all the necessary equipment such as laptops / desktops, chargers, internet connections, web cameras, admit cards, ID cards, and all other necessary items already instructed by ICSI.
Check the system and internet speed before taking the test.
Make sure that your exam location is quiet and without any disturbances.
Revise all important chapters / subjects from CSEET courses.
