Success Story of IAS Topper Arvind Pratap Singh: Arvind Pratap Singh hails from Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his early education from here. After this, after completing 12th education, he moved to Allahabad for graduation. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from Allahabad. After Arvind Allahabad University, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for MA and MPhil went to Delhi and received both degrees. After this, he was selected to the post of unmatched tehsildar. While working on this post, Arvind started preparing for UPSC. He did his studies in Hindi subject from graduation to post-graduation. This is the reason why he made Hindi literature his only optional subject in UPSC.
Preparing for such
Arvind says that before preparing for the exam, look at the syllabus. After this, keep some Solved or Unsolved paper in your study form. This will give you an idea of what kind of questions can be made from which subject. This will help you in preparing.
Revision is very important
Arvind says that to clear this exam, you should keep a limited number of books with you. So that you keep revising them again and again. By reading more books, you do not get proper time to revise. Having fewer books makes it easier to revise.

Arvind says not to have any kind of doubt in your mind about your medium. It does not matter what medium you are and what your background is. Result comes as much as you do. If you have done so, you will get fruit tomorrow if not today. Never give up and keep trying.
