Success Story of IAS Topper Varnit Negi: Today, you will tell the story of Negi, who became an IAS officer after receiving All India Rank 13 in the UPSC Exam 2018, who passed the UPSC examination twice in a row. In 2017, he passed the UPSC examination, but his rank was 504, due to which his selection was made for Railway Protection Force. His dream was to become an IAS officer, in this case he tried again and fulfilled his dream by being included in the list of toppers.
Graduation from NIT
Originally hailing from Uttarakhand, Negi studied up to high school from his hometown. After this, he moved to Kota for Intermediate. From here, he gave the entrance exam of engineering and his selection was done in NIT. He earned a civil engineering degree from NIT, Surathkal, Karnataka. After completion of studies, he got a placement in Power Grid Corporation of India. After studying for almost 2 years, he decided to join UPSC.
UPSC’s journey was like this
In the year 2016, Narita took the UPSC Civil Service examination for the first time after her preparation. In this, he passed the pre-exam, but got stuck in the mains. He analyzed his mistakes and rectified them and made another attempt in 2017. This time he passed the examination but the rank did not come good. In such a situation, he decided to make another attempt. Finally, in 2018, he fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS by passing the UPSC examination with good rank.

Described advice to other candidates
The narrator says that you must trust yourself to pass this exam. If you prepare with confidence then it will prove to be better for you. According to him, you should do smart work while preparing for this exam. Some people work hard but their strategy is not good, in that case they miss success.
