UPSC made up its mind during the job
Many people have dreams of going to the civil service since childhood, while some people get this idea during the job. Originally from Bihar’s Siwan district, Anand obtained an engineering degree from Delhi after studying 12th. After engineering, he got a job in a company and after working for a few years, he decided to go to UPSC.
Failed three times in pre exam
Along with the job, Anand decided to prepare for UPSC. He failed the pre-examination three times in a row, but he did not lose courage and kept working hard. Finally, in the fourth attempt, his luck supported him and he achieved his dream of becoming an IAS officer by getting a better rank. He achieved success after nearly 4 years of struggle.

Anand’s advice to other candidates
Anand believes that for the preparation of UPSC, you have to work continuously. If you are doing a job, you can study it by saving some time. He believes that if you are not able to do coaching then there is no need to worry. You can get success in this exam with the help of self study. According to him, better strategy and hard work are necessary for success.
