Like all the states of the country, the rate of corona infection is also increasing in the state of Haryana. Everyday record cases are being filed. Keeping in view the current situation, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said on Tuesday that he will put 1,200 MBBS and postgraduate students of medical colleges on duty to take care of corona virus patients.

He said that extra beds are being prepared in hospitals for Corona infected patients. At the same time, he denied the charge of stopping an oxygen tanker from going to Punjab. Responding to claims of lack of medical oxygen by relatives of several patients admitted to Panipat hospital, he assured that there was no shortage of medical oxygen in the state, Vij said, “We are looking for COVID patients with about 1200-1300 MBBS and Putting PG students on duty.
At the same time, when Vij was talked about the lack of beds in hospitals in Gurgaon and Faridabad, he said that both the districts are adjacent to Delhi, there is a huge rush of patients, but additional beds are being arranged.
Delhi patients admitted to hospitals in Gurgaon and Faridabad
He said that according to a recent survey conducted by health officials, about 70 percent of the patients in Gurgaon and Faridabad are from Delhi. Vij said that patients from the national capital and surrounding areas are being admitted to hospitals in Rohtak, Karnal and Ambala. He said, “But we will treat all the people who come here. We have asked the Deputy Commissioners to create additional bed capacity in Gurgaon district.”
