Success Story of IAS Topper Gunjan Singh: Today, you will tell the story of Gunjan Singh, who passed the UPSC examination and became an IAS officer, who got this success in the third attempt. He joined the job by obtaining an engineering degree from IIT. After some time he made up his mind to join UPSC and resigned from his job. After coming to Delhi, he started preparing for UPSC. Failed twice in UPSC, but after learning from his mistakes, he fulfilled his dream by becoming an IAS officer in the third attempt.

Degree in electrical engineering

Gunjan Singh is originally from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She was always very smart in studies and after intermediate she cleared the entrance exam of IIT. After this, he got admission in IIT Roorkee. After earning an electrical engineering degree, he worked for some time in a company. For some reasons, he decided to come to UPSC.

UPSC’s journey was like this

When Gunjan gave the UPSC exam for the first time, she failed the pre exam. After this, in the second attempt, she reached the interview round but her name did not appear in the final list. However, he continued to prepare with patience. In the third attempt, he corrected his mistakes and fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS by achieving All India Rank 16. Her UPSC journey was about 4 years long.

Gunjan’s advice to other candidates

Gunjan believes that to get success in UPSC exam, you have to prepare with confidence. Prepare the best study material according to your syllabus and make a good schedule for studies. After preparation, revise as much as possible and do not forget to practice answer writing at all. If you will be able to present your answer in a better way on the exam day, then your chances of success will increase significantly.
