Success Story of IAS Topper Varun Reddy: Today, you will tell the story of Varun Reddy, who became an IAS officer after receiving All India Rank 7 in UPSC exam 2018, which is very interesting. Varun’s dream of becoming an IAS officer was fulfilled in the fifth attempt. Initially, he had failed in UPSC twice in a row, but he did not give up hope and worked hard and achieved success by achieving success three times in a row. He got 166 rank in the third attempt, 225 in the fourth attempt. Finally, in the fifth attempt, he was included in the list of toppers.

Graduation from iit

Varun was always smart in studies and after intermediate he cleared the entrance exam of IIT. After this, he got admission in IIT Bombay. After graduating in computer science from here, he started preparing for UPSC. His graduation was completed in the year 2013. After this, after fighting for about 5 years, he acquired the post of IAS officer.

UPSC’s journey was like this

Varun took the UPSC examination for the first time in the year 2014, in which he reached the interview round but the final list did not make a name. His Mains exam was not cleared in 2015. In 2016, he passed the exam and got All India Rank 166, which he was not satisfied with. In the year 2017, he tried once again, but this time his rank came to 225. Even after this he did not lose courage and fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS by achieving All India Rank 7 in 2018.

Varun’s advice to other candidates

Varun believes that for UPSC preparation, prepare study material according to your syllabus and revise it again and again after completing it properly. Make notes and solve mock test paper during preparation. With this, you analyze your preparation and rectify the mistakes. If you continuously work in the right direction, then you will definitely get success.
