Opposition parties demanded postponement of board board

Last week, opposition parties in Goa demanded that the state board’s class 10 and 12 examinations to be held on April 24 be postponed or that they be conducted online, given the rise in COVID-19 cases.

Senior Congress leader Digambar Kamat, Goa Forward Party chief Vijai Sardesai and Independent MLA Rohan Khaitan had said that the Pramod Sawant government should postpone these exams for the safety of students.
