PSC exam in Kerala, interview postponed till April 30, know when new dates will be released


The Kerala Public Service Commission has postponed the verification of all PSC examination service till 30 April. This decision has been taken due to increasing cases of corona infection. Along with this, the commission has also announced the postponement of all departmental examinations, document verification, and interviews that were earlier scheduled for April, May and June. The Commission will soon issue new dates regarding when the works will be resumed.

SSLC and Plus Two Examination will be as per schedule

Meanwhile, the Kerala government has announced to conduct SSLC and Plus Two examination amid spikes in Kovid-19 cases. The examinations will be according to the prescribed schedule. There have been many changes in the SSLC and Plus Two examination program. While Director of General Education (DGE) Jeevan Babu said in a statement, the Kovid-19 protocol is being followed strictly in all examination centers. Steps have been taken to ensure social distance between students and instructions have been given so that all students, teachers and non-teaching staff wear triple layer masks at the examination centers. The body temperature of all the students is recorded and those who are in quarantine or Kovid-19 positive have been given the facility to take the exam in the special hall. The statement further said that the answer sheets of Kovid-19 positive students are being collected in separate bags and arrangements have been made to send them safely to the assessment centers.

ASLC exam and 12th exam will end by 29 April

Let us know that the SSL exam released on April 29 and the second year Higher Secondary and Professional Higher Secondary examinations are scheduled to end by April 26. This year more than 4.2 lakh students are appearing in SSLC examination and the number of senior secondary and professional higher secondary students appearing in the final year examination is around 4.5 lakhs. According to the original schedule, both the examinations were to be completed before the assembly elections, but due to the clash in the elections and exam schedule, the exam was postponed following the demands of the CPM Teachers Association.
