His dream was to become an IAS officer, in such a situation, he decided to take the exam until he got the desired position. Finally, in the year 2018, he fulfilled his dream by achieving All India Rank 6.
Faced with financial difficulties
Shubham is originally from Jaipur, Rajasthan. His family’s financial condition was not good, so he used to work with his father during his studies. Shubham was intelligent in studies and after intermediate he got admission in Delhi University. From here, he earned a BA Honors degree. During this time, he made up his mind to go to UPSC and started preparing.
Struggle for success
Shubham’s journey to UPSC was very long. He failed in the first two attempts, but he did not lose courage and kept working hard. In the third attempt, he passed this examination, but got the rank 366. Accordingly, he was selected for the Indian Account Service. However, he was not satisfied with this and decided to make another attempt. Finally, in the fourth attempt, he fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS by getting a good rank.

Shubham’s advice to other candidates
Shubham believes that to get success in UPSC exam, apart from studying, you should keep a close watch on the events around you. In this exam, you can achieve success by overall improvement. He believes that if you are not able to do coaching for UPSC, then there is no need to worry. You gather the source according to your syllabus and start preparing. They say that do not get discouraged if you get failure here and take the exam again with better enthusiasm. If you try with hard work, you will definitely get success.
