Mind set during graduation
Dilip is originally from Jodhpur in Rajasthan and he was very smart in studies from the beginning. After intermediate, he cleared the entrance of NIT. After that he got admission in National Institute of Technology, Rourkarela. From here, he obtained a chemical engineering degree. During his studies, he joined a club where social service was available. Gradually, his association with social service grew and he decided to join UPSC.
UPSC’s journey was like this
Dileep started preparing for UPSC by making his strategy. When he appeared for the first time, his selection could not be done. In the second attempt also, luck did not support him and he reached the interview after qualifying the Mains examination but the name did not appear in the final list. Dileep was not disappointed and he continued his preparations. Finally, in the year 2018, he had good luck and achieved All India Rank 72. In this way, his dream of becoming an IAS was fulfilled.
