After failing in UPSC twice, Raghav had decided to leave this field, but family and friends supported him and persuaded him to take the exam for the third time. He took the exam for the third time with full enthusiasm and achieved success. Let’s know about their journey.
UPSC decided during post graduation
Raghav originally hails from Ludhiana, Punjab. He did his early education here and after intermediate he obtained a B.Com degree. After BCom, he enrolled in post graduation. During this time, he made up his mind to go to UPSC and started preparing. They came to Delhi for preparation and they stayed here for 6 months and made preparations. After this he went back to Ludhiana and started doing self study.
Had made up my mind to leave UPSC
Raghav had prepared himself by making a good strategy and in the year 2017, he passed the pre exam in the first attempt. This time they got stuck in the mains. He was not disappointed by this and his confidence increased. But in the year 2018, his luck was bad and he failed in the pre exam itself. This frustrated Raghav and he decided to finish the journey of UPSC. However, with the support of family and friends, he decided to try once more. This time, luck also supported him and he achieved success.

Raghav’s advice to other candidates
Raghav believes that while preparing for UPSC, you should prepare limited study material according to syllabus. They say that if you gather more sources then it will be difficult to prepare. You should study more and more honestly. Due to good schedule and better strategy, you can get success in this exam. They say that it is also important to be patient for success in this exam. If you prepare with patience then you will definitely get success.
