Telangana: Class 10 exam canceled, 12th exam postponed till indefinite

The second wave of corona infection is wreaking havoc in many states of the country at this time. At the same time, the number of positive cases of Kovid-19 has also increased in the state of Telangana in the last 15 days. On the other hand, in view of the increasing cases, on Thursday, the state government canceled the examinations of class 10 and postponed the examination of class 12 to indefinite.

Please tell that Chief Minister K.K. Notification to this effect was issued by Special Chief Secretary (Education) Chitra Ramachandran in the evening after the high-level meeting convened by Chandrasekhar Rao a day earlier. The Telangana government has taken a decision related to board exams after the CBSE’s decision to cancel the 10th exam and postpone the 12th.

Results of 10th base of objective criterion will be released

Special Chief Secretary (Education) Chitra Ramachandran said that all the Class 10 exams to be held from May 17 have been canceled. The result of class 10 students will be given by Telangana Board of Secondary School Certification later on the basis of objective criterion.

Similarly, Ramachandran also announced that all intermediate (class 12) examinations to be held from May 1 to May 19 have been postponed indefinitely. He said that the situation will be reviewed in the first week of June, on the basis of this, a new date of examination will be announced. Students will be given at least 15 days notice before the examination. In relation to intermediate first year (class 11), the special chief secretary said that all the students will be promoted in the second year (class 12) without examinations.

Cases of corona infection are continuously increasing in Telangana

According to an official release by the Telangana Medical and Health Department, in the last 24 hours, 3307 new corona infection cases have been reported in Telangana and 8 people have died. Currently, there are 27,861 active cases in Telangana. The bulletin states that 897 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,08,396.
