In this regard, information has been given from the Chief Minister’s Office of Punjab that Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has announced that the students of 5th, 8th and 10th class will be promoted to the next class without any examination. Board examinations have been postponed in many states

Earlier, the board examinations were postponed in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Maharashtra also in view of the alarming increase in cases of coronovirus. On Wednesday, in the high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the CBSE Class 10 board examination was canceled and the class 12 examination was postponed.
