Board Exams 2021: Due to Corona, these states took a big decision regarding the 10th board exams


New Delhi: Amid the growing outbreak of Corona in the country, the government of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Odisha have decided to postpone the 10th and 12th board examinations. Apart from this, Punjab and Haryana have decided to cancel the 10th board exams and promote the students to the next class. Earlier on Wednesday, CBSE announced the cancellation of the high school examination and postpone the 12th board examinations. Following the CBSE decision, the Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh boards had also decided to postpone the board examinations. & Nbsp;

UP board examinations postponed till 20 May

The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday decided to postpone the 10th and 12th board examinations till May 20. The state government has instructed all schools up to 12th to be closed till May 15 amid increasing cases of corona. More than 20 thousand cases of coronavirus have been reported in Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours.

10th exams canceled in Haryana

The state education minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar said on Thursday that after the CBSE decision, the Haryana government has decided to cancel the board exams of class 10 and postpone the examinations of class 12. High school students will be given numbers based on internal assessment. & Nbsp;

Class 5 , Students of class 8 and 10th will be promoted in Punjab & nbsp;

Due to Corona, the Punjab government has decided to promote the students of class 5, class 8 and class 10 to the next class without exam. Earlier, the state government had postponed the 12th board examinations. The new dates of the 12th exams will be announced in view of the situation in Corona.

Board examinations postponed in Gujarat too & nbsp;

In view of the increasing danger of Corona, the Gujarat government has announced to postpone the 10th and 12th board examinations. Apart from this, it has been decided to promote students of classes 1 to 9 and 11 in the next class without examination. The new dates for the board exam will be announced after the review of the corona situation after May 15.

This decision taken in Odisha

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has decided to postpone the 10th and 12th board examinations. Apart from this, students of classes 9 and 11 will be promoted to the next class without examination.
