CBSE’s 10th board examinations were canceled by the central government on Wednesday amid the growing outbreak of Corona. At the same time, the exams of 12th were postponed. Significantly, board examinations have also been postponed in many other states of the country. The same Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has finally postponed the board’s examinations in view of the increasing infection cases today. The new dates of board examination will be considered after reviewing the situation in May.
Board examinations to be held from May 8
It is worth noting that the 10th and 12th examinations of the UP board were to be held from May 8, 2021 and more than 56 lakh students were to attend it. On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma, who also takes charge of the Department of Secondary Education, had indicated that the examinations are postponed. Explain that in the meantime, 17 of the 19 officers conducting board examinations were also found to be corona infected, who are currently being treated in the hospital.

Earlier, the board examinations were postponed in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Maharashtra also in view of the alarming increase in cases of coronovirus. On Wednesday, in the high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the CBSE Class 10 board examination was canceled and the class 12 examination was postponed.
