After engineering, the path of UPSC is chosen
Originally from Kerala, Shikha was always smart in studies and after intermediate she enrolled in engineering. His father’s dream was to become an IAS officer and Shikha’s mind was also attracted to this side. After completing graduation, he decided to come to Delhi to prepare for UPSC. He coached here for a few months but after that decided to do a self study.
UPSC’s journey was like this
Shikha believes that to get success in UPSC, a lot of focus should be on self study. With coaching, he understood the format of UPSC exam and based on that, started preparing his strategy. She failed in the first attempt but was not disappointed. He learned from the mistakes of the first time and made a second attempt in a better way. This time he fulfilled his dream by making it to the list of toppers.

Shikha’s advice to other candidates
Shikha believes that to get success in UPSC, use the same resources as you have. In today’s era, you have internet available, with the help of which you can prepare yourself. According to him, the more answer writing you practice after finishing your syllabus, the better it will be for you. Apart from this, continuously work in the right direction. This will give you success.
