New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an important meeting with officials of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Education, including Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, on the growing cases of Corona. After reviewing the situation in the meeting and discussing all the issues, the tenth examination to be held this year was canceled. Whereas the 12th examination starting from May 4 has been postponed till the time the situation becomes normal. During this, PM Narendra Modi said that the safety of students should be given priority.
On June 1, the corona virus will be reviewed again. Only after that it will be decided when to conduct the 12th examination. It was also decided to give information to all the candidates 15 days before the examination is conducted. Please tell that Corona cases are spreading very fast in many states including Delhi, due to which Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanded the cancellation of CBSE examinations.
Demand not to do examination
Not only this, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan also said in a conversation with ABP News that at present, CBSE exams should not be conducted keeping in mind the lives of children. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh also demanded that the examinations not be conducted. Keeping this in mind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday at 12:00 noon with Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office PK Mishra, Cabinet Secretary, School and Higher Education Secretary and CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi and other top officials High level meeting.
While expressing concern, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that priority should be given to the safety of students’ lives and property. He said that the interest of the students is important. Their health should be taken care of before taking any decision. It should also be noted that their educational interests should not be lost. He spoke on the preparation and all topics of the tenth and twelfth board exams to be held from next month.
Board examinations were to be held from May 4 this year. Whereas schools in 11 states have been closed in this situation. Keeping in view the current situation of epidemic and school closure and keeping in view the safety and welfare of the students, it was decided that the examinations for class XII of the board, scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 14, 2021, were postponed.
It will be decided to hold these examinations on 1 June 2021 after reviewing the situation. At least 15 days notice will be given before the start of the examinations. While the board examinations of 10th class held from May 4 to June 14, 2021 have been canceled. The result of class X board will be released on the basis of internal assessment through the CBSE board. If a child is not satisfied with the result released by the board, then he will be given a chance to take the exam, but that test will be determined only when the circumstances are normal.
