New Delhi: The Central Government has canceled the CBSE Class 10 examination in view of the growing cases of Corona epidemic in the country, while it has decided to postpone the Class 12 examination. Board examinations postponed for one month in MP
In view of the increasing cases of corona, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has postponed the 10th and 12th examinations starting from April 30 for a month. These exams can now be conducted from the first week of June.
Maharashtra government postponed board examinations
In view of Corona, the Maharashtra government has decided to postpone the 10th and 12th examinations to be conducted by the state board. According to the state’s School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad, the class 12 exams will be held in the end of May and the class 10 exams will be held in June.
Examination done in Bihar, Result also continues
The Bihar State Board had conducted the 10th and 12th board examinations in February, whose results were released by the Board on the previous days. At the time when the board conducted the exam, at that time there were very few cases of corona in the country.
Decision to postpone board examinations in Rajasthan
The Rajasthan government has decided to postpone the 10th and 12th board exams amidst growing cases of corona in the state. At the same time, students of 8th, 9th and 11th have announced to promote in the next class without examination. The board examinations were to begin on 6 May 2021.
UP board examinations will be held from May 8
The 10th and 12th examinations of the UP board will be held from May 8, 2021. At present, the state government or the board has not taken any decision regarding the postponement of the examinations.
Board examinations postponed in Chhattisgarh too
In view of the increasing cases of corona in the state, the state government has decided to postpone the 10th and 12th board exams. Earlier these examinations were proposed from 15 April 2021. A new schedule will be announced soon.
Board examinations to be held in Punjab from April 20
The Punjab government had also decided to postpone the high school and intermediate board examinations amid growing Corona cases. Previously the examinations were to be held from April 9, but now the 12th examinations will be held on April 20 and the high school examinations will be held from May 4.
Board exams in Haryana from 22 April
Haryana State Board’s 10th and 12th examinations will start from April 22. So far, the state government or the board has not taken any decision on postponing these examinations.
Exams will be held in Kerala from April 26
The 10th and 12th examinations of Kerala State Board will start from 26 April 2021. The schedule of these exams was announced recently.
Board examinations started in Himachal Pradesh
The Himachal Pradesh State Board examinations were to begin on April 14, but on Wednesday evening, the Education Department decided to postpone these examinations. Apart from these, the examinations of undergraduate courses in the state have also been postponed to 17 May.
