Alok’s perspective on coaching

Often people believe that coaching is very important to achieve success in UP. Alok also joined UPSC coaching before the first attempt and prepared, but he did not get success. After his failure, he quit coaching and focused on self study. Alok made his second attempt better on the basis of self study, correcting his past mistakes. This time his strategy worked and he attained 41 rank. In this way, he completed his UPSC journey in about 3 years.

Prepare study material according to syllabus

Alok believes that you look at the syllabus of UPSC and prepare your study material accordingly. If you prepare with selected books, it will be easy to revise. When you revise again and again, you will be able to perform better. They say that during your preparation, make sure to check where you have reached by giving a test.
