At the same time, due to the fast growing Kovid case in Gujarat, the biggest Gujarat University of the state has taken a big decision. Gujarat University has postponed all its examinations till further orders. On the other hand, GU said in a circular issued on Tuesday that keeping in mind the prevalent Kovid 19 epidemic, all the examinations starting from 12 April and till 23 April have been postponed and all subsequent examinations have also been postponed. At the same time, the Vice Chancellor of GU Himanshu Pandya said that ‘the option and the revised exam date will be announced within a week’.
April Exams were to be held in
The university has taken this decision, due to which the effect of corona should not be on the students. While the university had conducted examinations for more than 26,000 students in the month of April. This month, undergraduate examinations were scheduled for both the first and second semesters of about 50,000 students, which have now been postponed.
Soon New exam date will be found
The first year and first semester examinations of graduation were to start from April 12 and the examinations for the second semester would start from April 23. The university said that the examinations will be conducted both online and offline in the coming days. Also, the selection of options will soon be opened to the students. At the same time, the rest of the states are also thinking of canceling the examinations like GU.
