Success Story of IAS Topper Ravi Jain: Today, we will tell you the story of Ravi Jain, who was included in the list of toppers in the UPSC exam 2019, which was quite a struggle. He got a good job after his engineering degree, but for the sake of UPSC, he quit the job and came in this field. He got failure in UPSC thrice but he was not disappointed and kept working hard. Finally in 2019, his luck supported and he fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS officer by securing All India Rank 9 in UPSC.
Elementary education was done in Jharkhand
Ravi is originally from Deoghar, Jharkhand. This was his early education and after intermediate he enrolled in engineering in a college in Delhi. After this, he got a good job in a foreign company. After working for nearly 3 years, he decided to go to UPSC. After this, he quit the job and started preparing completely. However, his journey to UPSC was about 5 years long.

When Ravi took the UPSC exam for the first time, he was unsuccessful. For him, this was a new experience and he devised his strategy for the second time and took the exam again. Ravi did not get success even in the second and third attempts. Ravi was not disappointed by this and decided to accept this exam only. For this, he tried for the fourth time in a better way. This time, not only did he pass this exam, but he made it to the list of toppers. According to his rank, he was selected for IAS service.

Ravi’s advice to other candidates
Ravi believes that to get success in UPSC exam, you need to pay special attention to self study. If you cannot do coaching then do not get discouraged and continue your preparation with the help of internet. They say that for this exam, you have to prepare the right strategy and prepare in the right direction. Apart from this, focus on time management, so that you will be able to do better on the exam day.
