Turned engineering after intermediate

Originally from Punjab’s Amritsar, Navneet’s father is an inspector in the Delhi Police. His initial studies were in Delhi and after 12th he got enrolled in engineering. After completing his engineering degree in computer science, he turned to UPSC. Due to precise preparation and hard work, he passed the UPSC examination in the first attempt. However, his rank was 501, due to which he did not get the post of IAS. But he did not give up and made another attempt and got the post according to his mind.

Prepare with limited source

Navneet believes that you should prepare UPSC with limited resources. According to the syllabus, you should take only selected books for preparation. With this, you will be able to cover the syllabus quickly and after that revision time will be available. Success is made only in this examination by revising as much as possible.
