Got a job after engineering
Nidhi is originally from Gurugram in Haryana. He joined a Hyderabad-based company after earning a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for about 2 years and during this time he got the idea of UPSC. After this, they started preparing. He focused on self study instead of coaching and continued his preparation.
UPSC’s journey was like this
Nidhi started preparing for UPSC by making a good strategy without coaching. She did not get success in the first attempt but she was not disappointed and tried the second. However, he also failed in the second attempt. Despite this, he kept himself motivated and made a third attempt better by correcting his mistakes. Luck also supported him in the third attempt and he achieved All India Rank 83. In this way, his dream of becoming an IAS officer was fulfilled.

Nidhi believes that self study is very important for the preparation of UPSC. According to him, if you get failure here, then there is no need to be disappointed and keep working hard. She says that when you fail, recognize your mistakes and rectify them. Practice answer writing as much as possible and keep revising. If you work hard continuously, then you will definitely get success.
