Father used to do farming
Mintu’s father was a farmer and mother was a duodenum. The financial condition of his family was not very good. Because of this, he used to share his father’s hand in farming. He got his initial education in the village itself. After intermediate, he started taking competitive exams. He was smart in studies and got a job after passing the examination of Patwari. This improved the economic condition of his family. However, his dream was to become an officer after passing the UPSC examination. In such a situation, he continued to prepare for the job and achieved success in the second attempt.
UPSC’s journey was like this
Although Mintu Lal Meena got success in UPSC in the second attempt, but during this time he faced many challenges. He was working and with this he prepared for UPSC. The situation at home was not such that I could leave the job and prepare for UPSC. When he made his first attempt, he did not get success, but he did not give up his courage and continued his efforts. Luck supported him in the second attempt and he achieved 664 rank and got success in UPSC.

Mintu’s advice to other candidates
Mintu advises candidates preparing for UPSC to revise by covering their syllabus continuously. He believes that before starting the preparation of UPSC, you must look at the papers of the last year. This gives you an idea of what kind of questions are asked in the paper. Accordingly, make your strategy and keep preparing. There is no need to panic in UPSC many times you get failure.
