Today, you will tell the story of Himanshu Jain, who fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS by securing All India Rank 4 in the UPSC exam 2019. The special thing is that Himanshu thought of going to UPSC during graduation and got success in the second attempt.
Studied in the village till the eighth grade
Himanshu was born in a village in Haryana. His early studies were done in the village itself. Not only this, he continued to study in the village school till class 8. After this, he went to Delhi for further studies, where after intermediate he enrolled in BA Honors. Himanshu made up his mind to go to UPSC during graduation and he started preparing. Once Himanshu was determined to do the work, he would have completed it. He did the same in UPSC and in the second attempt, he was included in the list of toppers.
Preparations were not completed during the first attempt
Himanshu says that when he had given the UPSC exam for the first time, his preparation was not complete. This is the reason why he could not clear the pre-exam for the first time. In the second time, he prepared by making the right strategy and fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS by bringing good rank. Himanshu believes that your hard work and strategy to pass the UPSC exam is effective. According to him, your background does not matter in this exam. Regardless of the situation in which you have come to study, but here you get success only through hard work.

Himanshu’s advice to other candidates
Himanshu says that to get success in UPSC, everyone should make their own strategy. Many people copy the toppers but nothing is going to benefit from it. You have to find your own weekend and work on it. Also, after reading syllabus many times, revise as much as possible. Practice as much as you can in answering. Himanshu says that in the journey of UPSC you will find many people who will try to demotivate, but you keep your focus on your goal and keep working hard. Only hard work can ensure your success.
