UPSC took care during MBA
Raghav Jain was born in Ludhiana, Punjab. After intermediate, he enrolled in BCom. Raghav was smart in studies. So after BCom, he made a plan to do MBA. He made up his mind to go to UPSC while doing his MBA. After completing his MBA, he went to Delhi for preparation. Here he stayed for 6 months and started understanding about UPSC. After this, he returned to Ludhiana again and continued preparations for UPSC.
UPSC’s journey was like this
Raghav gave the UPSC paper for the first time in 2017. In the first attempt, he passed the pre exam but got stuck in the mains. Raghav made a second attempt in 2018, but this time he could not even pass the pre exam. This made Raghav very disappointed and he thought of ending the journey of UPSC. In such a situation, his family and friends inspired him to prepare. When family members got support, Raghav stood up again and he took the exam in 2019 with full preparation. This time, luck also supported him and he fulfilled his dream by getting 127 rank in UPSC. Raghav says that if he had not got the support of his family, he might not have been successful in UPSC.

Raghav’s advice to other candidates
Rahul advises candidates preparing for UPSC not to be discouraged by failures. He believes that many times in this journey you will have to go through such times, but you can achieve success by keeping yourself positive. Raghav says that UPSC syllabus is very big, so you try to read the entire syllabus. Also study smart. Raghav believes that to get success in UPSC, instead of light studies, you should understand every topic in depth. If you work hard with patience, then you will surely get success.
