Delhi University Admission: Now not only at the number 12, the merit of the Common Entrance will also be an important role for admission.


Admission process of Delhi University is going to start soon. But this time the admission process can be a little different. This time the university can make the Common Entrance Test a part for admission. But the matter is that for admission, the marks of 12th will be added along with the marks of entrance test. Till now, admission in most of the courses in Delhi University has been done on the results of 12th class.

Actually, a team was formed recently to consider the Central University Common Entrance Test. Which is now finalizing its result and it is possible that DU Entrance result will be based on Class 12th result and Central University Common Entrance Test.

Merit will not be compromised – PC Joshi

Delhi University Vice Chancellor Officer PC Joshi says, “The entrance exam will include the results of Class XII of the students. Also, there will be no compromise on merit.” He said, “Obviously this year the entrance is going to be very different from the previous years but it has not been decided completely how much percentage is to be given to the result of class 12th and how much common entrance test.

Let us tell you, the admissions process is going to start in DU in the next month i.e. March, for which there is time to fill the form till February 28. In DU, the process will begin for the first semester of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses from March.
