Success Story of IAS Topper Nupur Goel: Most people dream of serving the country by passing the UPSC exam. Many people get success in the first time with the right strategy, then many people have to struggle long for success. A similar story is from Delhi-based Nupur Goyal, who failed in UPSC exam five times in a row, but he made another attempt to keep his hopes up. In the sixth attempt, he fulfilled his dream by achieving 11th rank in the examination.
This was the initial journey
Nupur had his early education in Delhi and after 12th, he studied engineering from Delhi Technical University. He then earned a master’s degree in public administration from Indira Gandhi Open University. Nupur always had a dream to become an IAS officer. For this, he started studying from graduation. She continued to attend UPSC examination after studying continuously, but after failing many times, she was determined to become an IAS. He continued his journey after learning from the failures.
Success achieved after a long struggle
Nupur had told in an interview that when he failed many times in UPSC, people started taunting him. However, he continued his efforts amidst all this. In the first attempt, Nupur passed the Pre and Mains examination, but she dropped out in the interview. In the second attempt, she could not pass the pre exam. She reached the interview in the third attempt, but did not succeed. She did not lose courage and made a fourth attempt, in which she could not even pass the pre exam. She reached the interview for the fifth time, but the final list did not make a name. However, after learning from failures so many times, tried them one more time and this time made it to the list of toppers in the exam. He had to struggle for a long time to fulfill his dream.

Nupur’s advice to other candidates
Nupur advises the candidates preparing for UPSC to prepare hard. She says that whatever the situation is, you should fight it out firmly. There is no need to be disappointed with failures. If you have failed, see where you made a mistake. Try hard to correct your mistakes. Sometimes it takes time to get success, but by adopting the right strategy, you can definitely achieve success. Do not panic with difficulties. There are many disappointments in the journey of UPSC, but try to remain positive. Those who try with complete hard work and dedication definitely get success.
